Spiritual Formation
The Christian journey is a life-encompassing pilgrimage that entails both individual study and that which takes place relationally in the context of community. At Pine Shores Presbyterian Church, spiritual formation takes place in a variety of contexts, one of which is through classes offered on Sunday mornings and during the week. Come and explore for yourself how your spiritual journey can be strengthened and your spirit renewed through spiritual formation opportunities at Pine Shores.
Opportunities for Spiritual Formation
There are classes for every age that meet on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am. Classes are organized by life-stages, and each class is gifted with experienced and passionate instructors. Occasionally, adult classes have guest speakers who discuss topics that range from interpreting scripture to local and global missions. Adult classes provide a wealth of opportunities for spiritual enrichment, biblical learning, and fellowship.
At the heart of spiritual formation for 6th through 12th graders is intentional study and community building experiences where healthy relationships are fostered.
Children’s spiritual formation opportunities primarily take place on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday afternoons. Faith fostering lessons and experiences are led by seasoned leaders who provide safe, nurturing environments. Bible stories come alive on Sunday mornings and community is fostered on Wednesdays through creative activities.
Pine Shores invites you to take root and allow faith to be where one’s spiritual journey can be nurtured and encouraged with the grace of God and the love of a community of believers.
