| Details: | JOY Company is a weekly afterschool program for four year olds through and including Fifth Graders. When school is in session, we meet almost every Wednesday during the year from 3:30 until 5:30 pm. From 3:30 – 4:00 pm we typically play games as everyone is arriving at different times based on when they can get to the church from school. Then at 4:00 we go inside for a snack brought by different families of JOY Company children. The rest of our time together is a mixture of choir, choirchimes (third, fourth and fifth graders), creative Bible Study, arts and crafts, sometimes cooking and a variety of other activities. |

| Details: | Each Thursday morning an intercessory prayer team gathers for a time of intentional prayer. Intercessory prayer is prayer which is undertaken on behalf of others. This prayer team uses prayer to communicate with God, making a request on behalf of someone else or on behalf of a group of people. Intercessory prayer requires a sense of compassion for others. (It is an important way to contribute to the societies that we live in.) Intercessory prayer is also different from personal prayer or meditation. Intercessory prayer is a act of love to assist someone in need. |

| Details: | The Clara Kaiser Carillon Handbell Choir is for experienced ringers. This choir is in its 43nd year of ringing, adding to the worship service at Pine Shores. They rehearse on Thursday evenings at 7:00. In addition to ringing during worship services, they present concerts in and around the Sarasota area and attend regional festivals and workshops. |

| Details: | Welcome to Pine Shores Youth (PSY)! We are a ministry of Pine Shores Presbyterian Church for 6th through 12th graders, located in Sarasota, Florida.
During the school year, we generally meet at the Youth House from 5:45 pm – 7:30 pm. During the summer we meet for various activities at different times. Check out our calendar so you can be involved with us.
